This engine is referred to as a "17-stud" engine because each head requires 17 studs to fasten to engine block. BEST Gasket is the leading name in sealing performance in the restoration industry. This modern engineered, high-performance material is rated to a temperature of 1400°-F. Steel fire rings are installed in the combustion chamber areas of the gasket.
