This listing is for a BEST Gasket complete/full gasket set for 1949-53 Ford and Mercury passenger car models and 1948-53 Ford truck models using the 239ci or 255ci flathead V-8 engine with distributor mounted at perpendicular angle to the camshaft. P/N RS536C; head gasket bore is 3.44", "big bore" head gaskets for large overbored blocks.

This gasket set is for late-design flathead V-8 engines which have the distributor mounted at a perpendicular angle to the camshaft; compared to early-design where the distributor is driven directly off the forward end of the camshaft.
