This item is for eight (8) .020 over bore Silvolite hypereutectic flat top pistons and a moly piston ring set (Hastings/MAHLE) for Ford 460ci big block V-8 engines. P/N (8) 3191HC-020 + 2M598-020. These pistons may be used as a performance upgrade in 460ci engines originally equipped with dished pistons.

PISTON SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bore: 4.380 in. (at .020 bore)
  • Stroke: 3.850 in. (stock)
  • Connecting Rod Length: 6.605 in. (stock); rods NOT included
  • Piston Top Style: Flat top with 2-valve reliefs
  • Piston Head Volume: +4.20cc
  • Compression Height: 1.752 in.
  • Piston Material: Hypereutectic aluminum
  • Wrist Pin Diameter: 1.040 in.; pins included
  • Wrist Pin Style: Press-fit only
  • Ring Land Sizes: 5/64-5/64-3/16 (oil ring); rings included
